It can be a dreadful feeling…feeling frazzled. It’s that feeling you get when you would rather be designing and engineering, when you would like to finish a project, but you have to stop what you are doing and take care of your business.
Maybe it’s as simple as booking a lunch or travel arrangements for a conference but maybe it’s dealing with emails that are piling up and you know you need to respond to client needs because if you don’t that could be detrimental in many ways. You have to invoice or that will affect cash flow and what about research or making contacts for business development so the projects keep coming in.
If you are a sole proprietor you are most likely doing all of the work and the project management.
